If you were to see me in 20 years, I would most likely be rewatching Grey’s Anatomy for the 5th time with my 10 dogs surrounding me. I would probably have mostly Labs and Mastiffs, but maybe a bloodhound mixed in there too. The color that makes me the most happy is yellow. It always brings a smile to my face and never fails to bring me joy. When I tell people that I have lived in Charlotte my whole life, they tend to assume that I can’t wait to leave and get out of this city, but that isn’t the case. I love it here, and while I love to travel and explore other cities and countries, I can’t imagine growing up anywhere else.

I ended up at latin because I got redistricted from it and I had a couple of cousins that went to Latin so my brother and I applied and got in! I can see myself living in a lot of places. Seattle, San Francisco, Oregon, Asheville, New York, Greece, Puerto Rico, or in the middle of nowhere, I haven’t decided yet. I would probably get a polar bear because if it was domesticated I could do dog stuff with a polar bear which seems fun. My favorite movie is The Original Thing because I remember watching it with my dad when I was like 9 and I loved it but also I have the memory of watching it with him. I would live in a mediterranean style house but the inside decor is very whimsigoth. The word I want people to describe me as is empathetic because I feel like it encompasses so many positive traits and you can’t find a negative to empathy. My favorite video game is Cities Skylines, I could play that game for like 6 hours straight and not be bored. I listen to most genres except modern country but I really like Metal, Punk, Goth, Alt/Indie, Hyperpop, and Folk. I am a night person so I love sunsets so much because the night is my favorite so it signifies the start of my favorite time. A hidden talent I have is that I can name every country and their flags.

When people ask me where I’m from, I say Miami Florida since that is where I was born and where the majority of my family lives. People always ask me if I miss living in Florida and if I would move back. I moved from Florida to Charlotte, North Carolina because of my dads job, but I was still young so I don’t really remember the transition much. I go back 2-3 times a year and although right now I don’t really miss it much since I already am adjusted to my life in NC, I definitely see myself moving back once I’m older and out of school since Florida has always been special to me being that it was my first “home”.
