Charlotte might not have been my first home, but I’ll always find a place here with my friends, pets, places, sports, hobbies and family. I moved from New Jersey when I was 5 and no, I don’t have a cool story, I just have the simple “it was for family” answer. A fresh start brought new friends, places and experiences that have defined who I am for the past decade. I got the opportunity to play softball, which has brought me some of my closest friends and a different family, along with a sport that I will always love. My family was able to adopt 2 dogs, Cooper and Chloe, who have time after time been there for me whether they’re cheering me up, or putting a smile on my face while they chase deer out of the yard. A big part of my life consists of my love for Taylor Swift that has grown from a toddler singing to the radio from her carseat, to a huge Swiftie, invested in all the new news about her and her music, playing Reputation while driving. Each interest and hobby I have has developed my personality and character. While I have learned to love Charlotte and everything within it, in the future I would love to be able to move back to New York or New Jersey. I would love to have a career around animals, specifically rehabilitation. So Google me in 20 years and I’m sure you will be able to find me with a pet filled family in the New Jersey countryside with a huge smile across my face.
