My favorite animal is an elephant because of their unique color shifting abilities. Elephants are always light gray when you see them in the wild. Once they step into a pond, they become dark gray and all of the ash washes off. Elephants are just like everyone else. They put on a facade to the rest of the world, but once they are free of the eyes of the public, they change entirely. Sometimes people are scared of elephants because of their tusks and their height, but elephants are actually really friendly once you get to know them. Elephants reflect society, and we need to respect them.
