My role model would have to be Nakobe Dean. As a linebacker, he is a role model for me because we are both undersized. He is around 5’11 while most pro linebackers are no smaller than 6’2. He is not only inspiring to me because of his height, but his leadership inspires me as well. If you look up Nakobe Dean’s leadership, you can find a video of him in the 2021 national championship, making a goal line stand against Alabama. When another Georgia linebacker messed up the play, Dean stepped up and stopped Alabama. After he can be seen giving a speech to the guy who messed up. In the next play that same guy sacked the Alabama quarterback for a huge loss. The first player to congratulate him was Dean. Seeing how his leadership changed the course of the game made a big impact on me. It taught me that being a good leader is just as important as being a good player.
