I think my favorite childhood memory is having dance parties with my mom in the kitchen. She pulls out spatulas and turns up the speakers, and dances around the kitchen until our feet hurt and our voices are hoarse. If I could have lunch with any person in history, it would 100% be Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I respect how she never let what people say get under her skin, so as I grow up I try to emulate that. I hope as I get older, I spend all of my time with the people I love, and still dancing around the kitchen and singing into spatulas. If in twenty years an article was written about what I was doing, I hope that it says lots of positive things, like how I helped people or made a difference somewhere. I think if I were to pick a “happy” color it would be light purple, because it reminds me of growing up going to a lavender farm. A travel experience that has really shaped who I am would be when I traveled to Europe with my mom. It was the first trip in which I really got to immerse myself in another culture and challenge myself to learn a lot: the language, the foods, the transportation, the lifestyle, etc. I enjoyed being able to learn about myself and my ability to be comfortable in another country, as well as learning about the people that live there and their culture.
