My “thing” or passion in my life so far has been playing, watching, and studying soccer. I play for the school and for club, and it is naturally a big part of my life because of that. Soccer brings me a sense of calm and excitement all at the same time when I step onto the field, and that’s what I love about it. That adrenaline rush I feel after putting in that first tackle is unlike anything I’ve ever felt, which is why I hope I can keep playing soccer for the rest of my life. Along with playing soccer, I also watch a lot of games in the United States and Europe, which is another thing I like to do. Before coming to Charlotte Latin, I attended Trinity Episcopal School in Uptown Charlotte. It is a K-8 school and taught me many core values, including honesty and giving back to the community. I believe that it prepared me for high school very well and I am very appreciative of my experience there. My favorite memory of my childhood was going to The Masters every year. I love to watch golf and being able to see the best players in the world in-person was always very special to me.
