In 2016, my uncle and grandpa both died in the span of two months. Even though I was not even 12, they had left a massive impact on my life that was simply irreplaceable. However, in those 60 days, I learned more about myself and what matters most to me. Friends change and move away, but family are the ones that are there for you no matter what. I want to help others be better than they were yesterday. Whether what they are doing is big or small, I want to help them grow as much as possible as individuals. Being a light in the dark world is something others have done for me, so I want to do the same for them. If people, even just one person, are better after they meet and interact with me than before, I know that I have done my job.
